Draw PokerDraw Poker used to be the most common variation of the poker game. It was played in home games as in casino online, the proffesionals mastered it and the amatures just enjoyed playing it. Today, though, the situation is different. In casinos you won't find any draw poker game, but just stud poker or texas holdem. Even at firendly poker games many people prefer texas holdem. But I still prefer the old good draw poker, so here are the rules -This pokrr veriation can be played by 2 - 6 players. Each player recieves 5 cards, and then there is a round of betting. After the first round of betting, each player can remove up to 3 cards from his deck and replace them. After everyone replaced their cards (if they chose to do that), there is another round of betting. After that there is the showdown (all the poker players show their poker hands) and the player with the highest hand wins the pot. For example, the poker game starts with and ante of 1$, after everyone get their cards, player 1 raises the bet in 1$, player 2 calls (matches his bet) and player 3 matches the bet and raises in 5$. Now player 1 calls and player 2 folds. the rake so far is 16$. Now player 1 removes two cards from his deck and player 3 removes no cards. there is another round of betting. Player 1 adds 3$ to the pot, player 3 add 3$ plus another 3$, player 1 match his bet, and now the pot is 28$. The two players show their hands - player 1 has a full house and player 3 has 4 Aces. Player 3 wins and takes the pot. |
